Let's go memory lane and relive Maha Shivaratree 2010 through pictures.



 2010 was one of the years when the devotees were showered with heavy rainfall, a blessing from the supreme lord!. The raincoats, plastic sheets and umbrellas were out to protect the pilgrims. Unfortunately the heavy rains didn't allow for the cameras to be taken out.

 It was one of the few times that water was overflowing from the sacred lake. The water had almost covered the prayer stands near the lake.

Domaine de l'étoile : Dream-like panorama

Located near the village of Sebastopol, lies a beautiful reserve in the East of Mauritius named "Domaine de l'étoile". Extended over 1200 hectares, it is considered to be the biggest private reserve of the Island. The best phrase heard from visitors to describe the place is "Dream-like  panorama".You will surely be mesmerised by the beauty of the flora and fauna, the serpentine track roads going to the top of the mountain and the views.The pictures will surely prove it. There are a number of activities offered by the reserve.The best way to get close to nature is by hiking for sure! There are 3km and 7 km tracks.
