This year the organising committee of Porlwi has put nature in the forefront. Based on the theme 'Nature' various sites have been decorated to celebrate the event.

These places are :

1. The Citadelle
2. Bourbon Street
3. Le Grenier Building
4. Caudan Water Front

Maha Shivaratree 2018

Maha Shivaratree 2018 was celebrated on Tuesday 13th February. The devotees from all parts of the island converged towards the sacred lake to bring back the holy Ganga water to pour on the shivling for the great night of Shiva. A panoply of colorful kanwars, big and small can always be seen at Grand Bassin during the Maha Shivaratree festival, a great delight for the eyes.
